- Your 8a Business Plan can be completed in as little as 1 to 2 weeks. We advise that you begin the 8a Business Plan process immediately upon certification as most SBA district offices only allow 30 days for its submittal. Failure to submit the 8a Business Plan within 30 days can possible result in grounds for termination.
